The Shaheedi Sabha commemorates the supreme sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh, Sahibzada Fateh Singh, and Mata Gujri Ji. Millions of devotees gather every year. The event holds deep religious and emotional importance. Large crowds require careful planning. The Punjab Government aims to ensure comfort and safety. No devotee should face inconvenience. Respect for the sacrifice remains central.
The Chief Minister said special health arrangements are in place. Twenty Aam Aadmi Clinics and five dispensaries will function during the event. Specialist doctors and medical staff will be deployed. Medicines and emergency supplies have been arranged in advance. Quick medical response will be ensured. Health safety is a top priority. No shortage of care will be allowed.
To ensure smooth movement free inter city shuttle bus services will operate. Around two hundred shuttle buses and one hundred e rickshaws will be deployed. These will transport devotees from parking areas to Gurudwara Sahib. Google services will be used for real time traffic updates. Alternative routes will be activated when needed. Five large and sixteen small parking areas are prepared.
More than three thousand two hundred police personnel will be deployed. An integrated police control room has been set up. A special helpline number 0176 3232838 has been issued. Three hundred CCTV cameras will monitor sensitive locations. Drones will provide aerial surveillance. Mobile towers will be installed temporarily. Sixty ambulances and fire brigade vehicles will remain on standby.
The Chief Minister said cleanliness is critical at sacred sites. Machinery has been sourced from multiple districts. Volunteer teams will work in shifts day and night. Continuous cleaning will be carried out. Waste management will be closely monitored. The sanctity of the city will be preserved. Hygiene will not be compromised.
A large authorised blood donation camp will be organised. The aim is to promote humanitarian service. Strict warning has been issued against unauthorised camps. The government will not allow illegal blood collection. Past violations will not be repeated. Safety standards will be enforced. Blood donation will be regulated and secure.
Chief Minister Mann said serving the devotees is the government’s foremost duty. He assured full cooperation to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. He said no effort will be spared. The arrangements reflect respect for Sikh history. The government stands with the sangat. Faith dignity and service remain the guiding principles.
